The Grammy's are over and it was clearly a night celebrating the life of Adele and Whitney Houston. At the same time, we saw DeadMau5 and David Guetta represent for EDM in the grandest way possible. Did you catch DeadMau5's shirt at the pre-awards show. See above picture. Get the full results here. Chris Brown finally returns to the party after a three year absence and gets a standing ovation and a statue. I guess all is forgiven, especially since he is rumored to be romantically involved with Rihanna again. Chris Brown = Best Week Ever. Here is the performance that cemented him as a star.
Nicki Minaj officially slipped. If there was one word to describe her performance, it would be possessed and how fitting that she chose an exorcist theme. We still love you Roman. Now let's remember Nicki Minaj off the high of her Super Bowl performance.
Bruno Mars was creatively unoriginal with a performance taken straight out of Janelle Monae's playbook. We get it dude, you're retro and talented. Give us a new performance already.
It's so tempting to call Adele overrated, but damn this woman can sing and it's just a fact. So let her have her moment in the shade. We're not posting any Grammy video because it would just be taken down two hours later. So here is another great performance from Miss Adele.
Although this performance was predictable and not that great, Jennifer Hudson did remind us that Whitney Houston was an icon and despite her past troubles, important to music. Here is how most of us remember Whitney Houston.
